Renaissance Homes are extremely proud to have partnered with the Master Builders Association of the ACT (MBA), the Land Development Agency (LDA) and the ACT Government to deliver a new Charity Home project in Deakin.

As those who are friends of Renaissance Homes know, six years ago one of the original founding directors, a loved father and grandfather, Lud Kerec became a quadriplegic after a bike path accident with another cyclist.

Renaissance Homes have chosen Hartley Lifecare to be one of the charity recipients of the sales proceeds.

Hartley Lifecare is a Canberra based not-for-profit organisation providing rehabilitation services and options for those with disabilities and as such, this project is obviously near and dear to all of our hearts.

The Deakin Charity House project is a joint project where the LDA is contributing two adjoining separate title in-fill parcels of land in Deakin and MBA members, led by Renaissance Homes, are donating (or providing at low cost) construction materials and labour. The 2015-16 Project will deliver two home and land packages to market for auction in 2016.
Our #DCHproject media partners came together to help us plant a tree out the front of one of the houses and get a sneak peek at how the construction of the houses.
